| Os objetivos do presente trabalho foram a caracterização e a determinação das estimativas dos parâmetros relativos à cinética de degradação ruminal da fibra em detergente neutro (FDN) dos fenos de mata pasto, juazeiro, mororó, aveia e Tifton 85 e silagens de milho, sorgo e palma forrageira. Foram determinados a composição químico-bromatólogica, os coeficientes de degradação e o efeito de repleção ruminal da FDN. As características químico-bromatológicas dos alimentos avaliados apresentaram variações em seus componentes nutricionais. | Avaliou-se o efeito de diferentes níveis de energia metabolizável na dieta sobre a composição corporal e as exigências de proteína líquida de 24 ovinos Santa Inês em crescimento, não-castrados, com idade e peso corporal médio de 50 dias e 13,00 ± 0,56 kg. Após um período de adaptação de 10 dias, quatro animais foram abatidos para serem utilizados como referência para as estimativas do peso do corpo vazio (PCVZ) e da composição corporal inicial dos demais. | Objetivou-se avaliar o consumo de nutrientes e o comportamento ingestivo de cordeiros da raça Santa Inês na fase de cria alimentados com diferentes níveis de energia metabolizável (EM). | Avaliaram-se o consumo, a digestibilidade aparente de nutrientes da dieta e o comportamento ingestivo de novilhos recebendo dietas contendo feno de capim-tifton 85 com diferentes tamanhos de partícula (5, 7, 10 mm e inteiro). | This study aimed at estimating the kinetic parameters of ruminal degradation of neutral detergent fiber from agroindustrial byproducts of cashew (pulp and cashew nut), passion fruit, melon, pineapple, West Indian cherry, grape, annatto and coconut through the gravimetric technique of nylon bag, and to evaluate the prediction equation of indigestible fraction of neutral detergent fiber suggested by the Cornell Net Carbohydrate and Protein System. | This study was carried out to estimate efficiencies of the utilization of metabolizable energy for maintenance (k m) and weight gain (k g) and to evaluate the Small Ruminant Nutrition System (SRNS) model in predicting dry matter intake and average daily gain of growing Santa Ines sheep. | The objective of this work was to evaluate intake, nutrient apparent digestibility and ingestive behavior of sheep fed rations with cashew nut meal (CNM) at the levels of 0; 10; 20 and 30% in the concentrate ration. It was used a double 4 × 4 Latin square experimental design. The aim of this study was to evaluate the nutritional value of diets containing babassu cake as a substitute for Tifton-85 hay (70, 140, 210, 280 and 350 g kg-1 dry matter: DM).
